Controlled Vulnerability
Acrylic paint on Canvas
50x70 cm

This is what bass, flickering club lights, and electric atmosphere look like when they take on a visual form — painted live at @puddings.berlin during a 2-hour set from @house.of.margo and @sibastk . I'm synesthetic, so sound, touch and other sensations are transforming into colors and textures in my mind. Here, a genderqueer body mid-dance became the whole painting.
As a refugee, dancing feels like reclaiming my own body — a way through grief for a past life, lost people, and a destroyed home. In survival mode, being nonbinary can feel like a luxury I can't afford. But queer spaces show me: life goes on, and I have a right to be myself.
For every body that gets to move freely 💜
You Can't See It But It's there
Acrylic paint on Wooden Panel

Some days, pain has a texture. A color. The particular quality of light that doesn't warm you — it just burns.
I've lived with chronic joint pain for years. On the worst days I lie in bed and feel like a tree warped by its own growths, standing in sunlight so bright it eats away at the edges of things. Angry at my own body. Unable to think past it. This painting is one of those days.
Suffocating Embrace

A figure wrapped in leaves appears serene and suggests a beautiful connection. Yet the twisting vines form a suffocating embrace, symbolizing the controlling, oppressive bonds within the family.
